Regularity Privacy Policy

Regularity (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Regularity, developed and operated by Creative Stack, LLC (DBA Cadentia Health), collects, uses, and protects your information.

2. Our Privacy Philosophy

Regularity is built privacy-first. We believe:

  • Your data belongs to you, not us.
  • Your data stays on your device and in your personal iCloud (if you enable sync).
  • We never collect, sell, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising.
  • We collect no analytics or tracking data whatsoever.

3. Information We Store

Regularity records the bowel movement events you log, along with any optional details you choose to add (such as timestamp, stool consistency, urgency, leakage, and freeform notes). This is sensitive personal health information. It is stored only on your device and in your personal iCloud (if you enable sync). We do not require an account and we do not receive a copy of this data.

4. Information Storage and Sync

Regularity stores data locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is synced to your personal iCloud account via Apple CloudKit. We do not operate servers that store your data.

5. Apple Health (HealthKit)

Regularity can optionally write a limited subset of your data to Apple Health. This integration is opt-in and disabled by default; you enable it from within the app and can revoke access at any time in the iOS Settings app. Regularity continues to function normally whether or not HealthKit access is granted.

When enabled, Regularity may write coarse-grained symptom indicators:

  • Abdominal pain
  • Diarrhea (derived from Bristol 5–7 consistency values)

Regularity does not export the following to HealthKit:

  • Urgency
  • Leakage
  • Stool consistency (Bristol scale)
  • Freeform notes
  • Any derived trends or analysis

Regularity writes to HealthKit only. It does not read your HealthKit data, and data written to Apple Health is handled by Apple under your own Health privacy settings.

6. Exporting and Sharing Your Data

Regularity can generate PDF reports and let you share or save your data. All exporting and sharing is user-initiated — Regularity never transmits or shares your data automatically. Where your exported data goes (for example, a chosen app, recipient, or destination) is under your control.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

You own your data and can delete it at any time within the app. Deleted data is removed permanently. Deleting the app removes all local Regularity data from your device; if you used iCloud sync, you can manage or remove that data through your Apple iCloud settings.
