A private bowel movement and symptom tracker.
Log an event in one tap from your iPhone or Apple Watch, see the patterns behind your symptoms, and take a clear report to your doctor. Built for people managing IBS, IBD, Crohn's, or colitis — and anyone who wants a clear record of their own patterns.
Free to try. A one-time $9.99 purchase unlocks everything — no subscription, ever.
Log in seconds, not minutes.
When you need to record something, you need to record it now. Regularity saves the moment first and lets you fill in the rest later — or not at all.
- One tap to record an event, from your iPhone or Apple Watch
- Bristol Stool Scale consistency, types 1 through 7
- Optional urgency, pain, blood, leakage, and free-text notes
- Nothing is required — record only what is useful to you
See what actually changed.
Started a new medication? Cut something out of your diet? Log it as a marker and Regularity draws it across your charts, then compares the period before it to the period after.
- Mark a medication start, diet change, or procedure
- Before-and-after comparison across frequency, urgency, pain, and consistency
- Daily, weekly, monthly, 6-month, and yearly views
A record you can hand to your doctor.
Appointments are short. Instead of trying to remember the last three months, bring the actual record.
- A clear, chronological history, grouped by day
- Export a PDF summary to bring to an appointment
- Send your events to Apple Health when you want them there
Private by design.
This is sensitive data, so Regularity is built to keep it yours. There is nothing to sign up for, and nothing is collected about how you use the app.
- No accounts, no sign-in. Your data is not tied to an identity.
- No analytics, ads, or telemetry. Nothing about your usage is measured or transmitted.
- Local-first storage. Your records live on your device. iCloud sync is optional and off until you turn it on.
- HealthKit is opt-in and export-only. Regularity writes to Apple Health when you ask it to; your data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it.

Questions
Is Regularity free?
Regularity is free to download and use. The free version keeps a rolling 24-hour window of your data, so you always have the last day available. A single one-time purchase of $9.99 in the US unlocks full history, long-range reports, before-and-after marker comparisons, full-range PDF reports, and reminders. There is no subscription.
Does Regularity work with Apple Watch?
Yes. You can record an event from your wrist in one tap and add details afterwards, without reaching for your phone. Apple Watch with watchOS 10.5 or later is recommended for watch capture.
Does my data leave my device?
Not unless you choose to share it. Regularity has no accounts and no sign-in, and contains no analytics, ads, or telemetry. Storage is local-first, iCloud sync is optional, and HealthKit is opt-in and export-only.
Can I share a report with my doctor?
Yes. You can export your summary as a PDF to bring to an appointment, and you can send your events to Apple Health.
Does Regularity use the Bristol Stool Scale?
Yes. Consistency is recorded using the Bristol Stool Scale, types 1 through 7, alongside optional urgency, pain, blood, leakage, and free-text notes.
Can I track how a medication or diet change affected me?
Yes. Log a medication start, diet change, or procedure as a marker on your timeline. It appears as a line across your charts, and Regularity compares your frequency, urgency, pain, and consistency before and after that point.
Requires an iPhone running iOS 18 or later. Apple Watch with watchOS 10.5 or later is recommended for watch capture. Regularity is a personal tracking tool, not a medical device, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider with any questions about a medical condition.
